Member Care Team
Workshop scholarships
MMCT provides interpersonal skills and crisis training to missionaries throughout West Africa. Scholarship funds are offered to any who have financial hardship. The underwriting of these workshops would provide for reduced fees for missionaries and would make them more affordable. You may also wish to specifically sponsor our African missionary participants who are eager to receive training in interpersonal and crisis skills. Each scholarship is up to $175 per person.
MMCT Travel
MMCT Travel This would include either mileage or airfare for MMCT workshops, crisis trips, team building/debriefing, professional conferences, MMCT meetings, and airport pickups. This year's budget for MMCT Travel is $11,000.
MMCT International Development
There is a strong interest for the development of MMCT teams in other parts of the world including East Africa, Central Africa, North Africa, South Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia. In order to develop these teams, we have developed a budget for travel to these areas in order to provide training and consultation. This year's budget is for $5000.
Where most needed
MMCT relies on the donations of individual and organizations in order to subsidize program costs such as workshops, crisis response, and travel within West Africa as well as operating costs such as office rent, travel for MMCT Governing Board members for bi-annual meetings, office supplies, office equipment, and security. Office and staff costs run at about $22,000 a year.
